Timing

The timing for starting this blog is a bit poor. It was one of those ideas that has lingered in my mind for a while, but I haven't really had the time to do the research or set the thing up. I am at the moment on a maintenance trip to the observatory in Tenerife, which would seem like a perfect time to start blogging about my work on the telescope.


The problem is that we've now finished all of our scheduled work for this trip, so there isn't an awful lot to write about. We have a few days left before our return to the UK, so in order to avoid the blog looking terribly empty until the next maintenance trip I am planning to write a few pieces about the work I've done this trip and maybe a bit more about the trips in general.
