With help from Don and Steve at Software Bisque we believe that we have now resolved the problems with homing our mount.
The eventual solution involved changing software options in the mount configuration, so no amount of spanner waving would have fixed the system this time.
We are aiming to complete a mapping run this evening and bring the system back on-line tomorrow with the hope of seeing substantially improved pointing.
